Shirts have always been the perfect area for contemporary designers to use their creative space. The difference in the material of a shirt can give the viewer completely different information. Poplin, hemp, twill, and Oxford button shirts are common fabrics: poplin has a very simple luster and is often used in pajamas. The light exposure brings a natural dazzling brilliance. The choice of collar fundamentally determines the personality of a shirt. Both stand-up collar and open collar variants can get rid of the ritualistic stereotype; the traditional unfolding neckline and button necktie with ties are still the most popular combination. In recent years, deconstructionism has inspired some designers to make destructive tailoring choices. Asymmetrical and mismatched material constructions, long sleeves, multiple dressing options, and modified collars have become unique symbols. Such experiments are due to various avant-gardenias hints a possible and distant future mainstream.
