The World Trade Center is a complex of buildings located in Lower Manhattan, New York City, USA, consisting of 6 buildings. The two twin towers called the "North Tower" and the "South Tower", were once one of New York's famous landmarks. They were collectively called the "World Trade Twin Towers" and were the tallest buildings in the world at that time. The September 9/11 attacks in 2001 caused most of the buildings to suffer severe damage ranging from destruction to structural damage. It is currently under reconstruction and plans to build 5 skyscrapers and a victim memorial.
