Cityframes FRAME Taipei, Taiwan captures the familiar cityscape within a three-dimensional frame, presenting the textures of streets, buildings, and the city in a scale of 64 × 64 cm. It is suitable for hanging in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, or office spaces, or can be placed directly on a cabinet to become a spatial object with an architectural feel.
The model was built using Cityframes' proprietary CitySculpt process, based on high-precision 3D city data. The locations, outlines, and details of buildings were then manually adjusted to ensure that the scaled-down city retains clear and easily recognizable layers. The soft white model has a matte, plaster-like texture, creating a quiet yet distinct contrast with the black solid wood frame, allowing light and shadow to fall naturally between the streets and buildings.
