The Cloudnola Flip Clock in white is a desktop clock that displays the time using a mechanical flip-page mechanism. Its white exterior and clear, large numerals make it suitable for placement on a desk, bedside table, or shelf, serving not only as a daily timekeeper but also as a simple yet distinctive design element in any space.
Designed by Dutch designer Renée Vendrig, the Flip Clock uses a split-flap mechanical flipping structure, where digital cards are flipped one by one as the minutes progress. Unlike the instant switching of digital screens, physical flipping allows time to be seen through mechanical motion, accompanied by a slight turning sound each minute, creating a natural and regular rhythm of time.
The clock is powered by a single D-type battery, requiring no external power cord, and can be freely placed on a desktop or shelf, depending on the available space. A time adjustment knob on the back makes setting the time easy; suitable for work desks, studies, and bedside tables where the time needs to be checked frequently, it retains the unique viewing experience of mechanical page turning while providing a timekeeping function.
